The Integrated Supply Chain Capture Lead (SCCL) is a proven exceptional leader with demonstrated project management skills coupled with a breadth of Supply Chain experience. The SCCL will be responsible for developing and executing Program Portfolio level, Business Unit level and/or organizational level supply chain strategies and plans in support of program captures, program pursuits, and/or program proposals. The SCCL will lead the Integrated Supply Chain Strategic Business Unit team in developing and deploying organization level front end of the business (capture, pursuit, proposal) standard work, best practices, policies and templates. The SCCL will support captures early in the capture process and further plan strategic supply chain management activities to be executed after proposal and upon award. The SCCL will identify viable sources of supply and work in collaboration with BAE SMS Acquisitions and program/proposal teams to foster win-win agreements with key suppliers in support of new business. In addition, the SCCL will serve as the lead and/or the subject matter expert in all major pursuits, captures, and/or proposals that include significant outsourced content.

The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.

The Integrated Supply Chain team has a direct impact on program success, acting as a critical chain that links the end-to-end material flow together. Our organization helps propel us forward and achieve true mission partnership.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and execute Program Portfolio level, Business Unit level and/or organizational level supply chain strategies and acquisition plans in support of program captures, program pursuits, and/or program proposals.
  • Lead the Integrated Supply Chain Strategic Business Unit team in developing and deploying organization level front end of the business (capture, pursuit, proposal) standard work, best practices, policies, and templates.
  • Support captures early in the capture process and further plan strategic supply chain management activities to be executed after proposal and upon award.
  • Identify viable sources of supply and work in collaboration with BAE SMS Acquisitions and program/proposal teams to foster win-win agreements with key suppliers in support of new business.
  • Serve as the lead and/or the subject matter expert in all major pursuits, captures, and/or proposals that include significant outsourced content.
  • Develop and lead supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions, basis of estimates, coordination of subcontractor SOWs / RFPs and facilitation of material pricing on programs of all levels of complexity, criticality to the business and dollar amounts.
  • Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to captures programs to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Ensure all ISC actions are performed within regulations and approved procurement system is maintained.
  • Ensure that Supply Chain input to proposals, programs, and other operations are compliant with regulatory requirements and conducted in accordance with BAE SMS best practices.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • BS/BA plus 10 years or more related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Previous Supply Chain Management or procurement experience, including execution and oversight of direct material procurements or subcontracts in support of DoD, NASA or other government customers; or in support of Fortune 500 type commercial companies for indirect/overhead procurements.
A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $158500

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
