For three generations the Cooper family has been crafting a full range of spirits, cordials, and ready-to-drink cocktails from the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Charles Jacquins et Cie., Inc., the oldest Cordial Producer in America and the largest in PA is expanding its product offering and reach throughout Pennsylvania. We are looking for energetic, self-confident, experienced salespeople to become a part of our Sales Team. Candidate must live in North Carolina for consideration. JOB DESCRIPTIONOur Regional Control State Manager will be responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives, owning the relationship between the LCB's and Jacquins. The primary function of this role is to manage the LCB and distributor relationships, secure new listings in their respective states, secure promotional periods on priority items and collaborate with marketing to create consumer activities to drive sales. The successful candidate will sell in and activate the Jacquins portfolio by cultivating strong working relationships with the LCB's and our distributor partners as well as drive distribution into On Premise accounts. This position will report directly to the Control State Director and has potential for growth and promotion within the organization. Position Responsibilities
  • Serves as primary contact for Charles Jacquin portfolio for the State LCBs in VA, NC, MS, AL and their respective account universe.
  • Manage distributor partner relationships including assessing distributor execution and managing KPI's
  • On-premise focus: building brand distribution, visibility, and increasing rate of sale in bars, restaurants, casinos, country clubs, stadiums, etc.
  • Off-premise focus, increasing listings, selling in displays/end caps, laser focus on shelf positioning and ensuring tent poles are activated.
  • Align with key local events and partners and participate where the opportunity fits our strategy, including execution of national initiatives in your local market.
  • Execute product seminars and brand trainings in accounts.
  • Stay informed of customer and consumer trends.
  • Provide activity report's to supervisor, including list of objectives, accomplishments, competitive activity, special projects, and/or any specific needs.
  • Review monthly goals and objectives with execution plan with manager.
  • Provide feedback on effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives, including programs, POS, advertising, etc.
Role QualificationsMin of 5 years' work-related experience in with structured sales background, with Beverage Alcohol/Spirits, specifically in Control States. Essential Skills and Experience
  • Analytical skills, in particular gathering data from a wide variety of sources and presenting it in formats suitable for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Good managerial and effective presentation skills
  • Excellent people skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Must be able to carry/lift 45-65 lbs.
  • Valid North Carolina Drivers License
  • North Carolina Sales Person License
