Key Responsibilities

The Regional Quality Assurance Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in:

  • Supporting the Regional Quality Manager in the creation and execution of quality control protocols and processes for construction initiatives across the region.
  • Performing regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors to pinpoint and resolve quality-related challenges while implementing corrective measures.
  • Offering guidance and assistance to project teams in the application of quality control practices, including training on quality protocols.
  • Reviewing project documentation such as drawings, specifications, and quality control reports to verify accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitoring and evaluating quality performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Assisting in the investigation and resolution of client concerns and non-conformance issues.
  • Conducting internal quality audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Staying informed about industry best practices, regulations, and standards pertinent to quality management in the construction sector.
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of quality-related documentation for client approval and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or quality management within the construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, processes, and tools.
  • Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in utilizing construction management software and tools.
  • A valid driver's license.
