This role is responsible for leading the Sales and Sales Operations function for Chamberlain Group's cutting-edge warehouse and distribution center software, myQ Enterprise.
myQ Enterprise is a connected IOT SaaS solution that streamlines trailer scheduling, simplifies driver check in, automates yard/dock assignment, and provides real-time reporting around everything that is happening at the facility.
Reporting to the GM of myQ Enterprise, a successful incumbent's main objectives are to (i) Design the go-to-market sales strategy for the myQ Enterprise SaaS product, (ii) Develop the myQ Enterprise sales team by attracting, coaching, and reatining talent (iii) Own the entirety of the sales process from top of funnel lead generation to deal closure and contracting; to meet the high-growth targets for a start-up business.
- Develop, implement, and execute the go-to-market sales strategy to meet the company's growth targets for both the number of customers and recurring revenue
- Drive sales growth by managing, leading, and directing the myQ Enterprise Sales function, establish and convey SaaS sales best practices, provide strategic direction, and coach the team when necessary
- Create the Sales function resource plan, continuously assess if the team structure is best suited to meet revenue growth, and adapt structure when necessary to maintain growth targets
- Lead the sales team in executing the full sales from top of funnel demand and lead generation to deal closure and contracting; close deals that exceed customer and recurring revenue targets
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the individuals in your fundtion. Regularly measure performance against targets; clearly and concisely communicate expectations to the team and review performance against the established expectations
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities at all stages of the sales cycle; forecast sales and revenue performance against the sales cycle; prepare and present comprehensive reports to company leadership on pipeline and revenue performance
- Supporting Sales Team by ensuring they have sufficient and effective enablement materials, playbooks etc. in partnership with Marketing and Product Development; create sales content as necessary
- Conduct regular 1:1s with all members of your team to assist with account planning, forecasting, and sales strategies
- Lead team meetings that monitor sales activity, pipeline management and deal closure; deliver GTM guidance on how to better move opportunities through the sales cycle
- Work in collaboration with the GM of myQ Enterprise, Product, and Marketing functions to identify and recommend strategic approaches to create lead generation for sales
- Leverage your business network to open and fast-track new business opportunities; develop and nurture C-Level and Decision Maker relationships withing accounts for the purpose of establishing strategic alignment and closing opportunities
- Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention; Identify opportunities for expansion that drive revenue growth.
- Represent the company at industry events and establish yourself as an industry expert
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, product positioning, and emerging trends; Leverage market insights to identify new business opportunities and enhance the available offerings
- Foster a high-performance culture and ensure effective collaboration among team members
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
- Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company's policies
- Create the Sales function resource plan, continuously assess if the team structure is best suited to meet revenue growth, and adapt structure when necessary to maintain growth targets
- Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
- Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the company's CGI mission, vision and values.
