Subcontract Admin I

This role will serve as a key negotiator of price, scope, terms, and conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete procurement process including proposal preparation activities, negotiations, administration of subcontracts, and execution of supplier management activities.
- Provide acquisition of equipment and services in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications for the U.S. and international customers.
- Administer full life cycle subcontract management, including but not limited to proposal support, negotiations of non-disclosure and teaming agreements, preparation of solicitations packages to subcontractors, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, price analysis, negotiations of terms and conditions, award of subcontracts, subcontract administration, issuance of subcontract modifications, issue resolution and closeout activities.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and prime contract flow-down provisions, company policies and procedures, and subcontract provisions across the program.
- Develop and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions, prime contract flow-down terms and conditions including estimated cost/price, delivery, quality, and performance requirements.
- Document negotiations in accordance with procurement policies and procedures
- Develop, negotiate, and execute related agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements, advance procurement actions, strategic agreements, and/or teaming agreements
- Handle invoice management.
- Perform data entry using various databases
- Must be able to assess, prioritize, drive issues to closure, and be assertive.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.
- Exhibit best practice work habits and collaborate with other team members to promote operational excellence.
- AS Degree with 2+ years of experience or equivalent experience
- Experience with subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process
- Ability to exhibit sound interpersonal and collaboration skills while interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking using sound judgement while complying with company policies / procedures and applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Experience in Government Subcontracts
- Experience in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
- Demonstrable subcontracts interpretation skills
- Willingness and desire for continuous improvement.
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $91300
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
