Ensures compliance of Internal Controls with Louisiana State Police Riverboat Gaming Division regulations.
Reviews and responds to applicable internal audit reports.
Evaluates requests for revisions of Internal Controls.
Is familiar with CFR 103 - Title 31 requirement.
Develops and implements training programs related to gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
Communication skills for this job are necessary, as well as a working knowledge of the state legislative process.
Responsible for all State Police communications including SAR responses, promotion and tournament requests and any other miscellaneous requests for information.
Responsible for all State Police and Attorney General monthly, quarterly and annual filings including, cash requirements, Vendor reports, Economic and Procurement reports, Foreign Gaming reports and Nevada Compliance program.
Responsible for Federal, State and city business licenses and renewals including liquor, tobacco and occupational licenses.
Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises the Compliance Clerk. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
