Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, you solve complex challenges for off-road autonomous vehicles by developing and deploying state-of-the-art machine-learning models on embedded hardware.

Job Responsibilities

Duties:

• Prototype new Machine Learning-based software;

• Propose new solutions based on discussions with sales engineers;

• Participate in discussions with Systems Engineering teams;

• Analyze new solutions for machines that collect multimodal data including sensor setup and placement;

• Participate in discussions and verify Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Software Design Specifications (SDS) for new software releases; participate in DFMEA reviews and discuss potential risks and mitigation for new software blocks.

Background & Skills

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Robotics, including research experience involving the training, testing, and validation of Machine Learning models on perception data such as camera images.

Work conditions:

Full-time, 40 hours per week
