Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in computer science or related quantitative disciplines, or a Bachelor of Science with relevant practical experience in an industrial or research context.
- Prior experience in software development roles.
- Experience in startup settings.
- Demonstrated experience in leading or managing engineering teams.
- Familiarity with cloud computing systems, microservices, or data pipelines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to colleagues with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Background in the medical device or healthcare sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of computer vision tasks such as detection, segmentation, and classification is advantageous.
- Experience with diverse data types (e.g., EMR, genomics, biometrics, images) is a plus.
- Experience in deploying machine learning models into production is preferred.
