Solution Developer- Demo

Creative full-stack developer to create and curate amazing product demos and sales tools, as part of the new Technical Marketing team. Working with sales engineers and product managers worldwide, we will provide and maintain the tools needed to win over technical audiences at our prospects and customers.

The successful candidate will have strong prototyping and quick-development skills, including UI development. Experience with Angular and Python required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain product demos- Create standing product demos that showcase the value of a product or service to potential customers. Work closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and develop demos that meet those needs.
  • Create and foster demo toolkit- Create and maintain a series of tools for Sales engineers and product managers to use in tailoring a standard demo, creating a custom demo, or conducting a POC.
  • Run curation process- "Audition" potential contributions to the demo catalog, providing feedback for improvement. For components or demos that become standard, take over maintenance. Periodically prune the general demo catalog.
  • Develop and maintain demo datasets - Assemble datasets that support the stories we want to tell in our demos. Build tools to tweak datasets to localize them or tune them to a particular story or scenario.

Skills/Experience:

  • Technical: 3+ years of strong full-stack development experience including both Angular and Python. Familiarity with containers, kubernetes, helm charts desired. Quick learner that can pick up and understand others' code, recommend improvements, and maintain or update it as necessary.
  • Collaboration: This person will work closely with sales engineers and product managers worldwide, leveraging the creativity of many others and teaching/encouraging them to share work and fit into a more standard framework.
