WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Provide sophisticated technical application assistance to identify modified and engineered solutions based on customer specifications and application requirements
  • Issue multifaceted quotes based on customer requests, application requirements, costing, and manufacturability
  • Provide support for specific sales territories as a main contact
  • Handle key accounts which include collaborating with multiple functional areas to resolve quality issues, proactively interacting with customers, and resolving conflicts to ensure customers' expectations are met
  • Lead special project assignments as the need arises
  • Identify sophisticated and custom components to assist customers in part replacements
  • Maintain a high level of performance by meeting team key performance indicator goals
  • May process all incoming orders via fax, electronic, phone
  • Work with sales, marketing, production, shipping, and other operating functions regarding product, delivery, or service matters
  • Lead scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed
  • Provide training/mentoring for Customer Service Reps and Application Specialists and Sales as needed
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ideally 2+ years of technical customer service or sales support preferably in a call center and/or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge in technical aspects of product as well as of product specifications and offerings
  • Skill to read and interpret product drawings
