Your responsibilities will revolve around defining vital technical tasks, being responsible for program progress, facilitating collaboration through meetings, and delivering detailed reports on advancement towards overall program goals

Description

The Infrastructure Services Programs & Solutions - Special Programs Senior Engineering Program Manager will partner with teams across Apple to ensure infrastructure readiness, specifically within our data centers and colocation sites, for Apple's newest products and services. If you are passionate about enabling detailed user experiences across Apple devices, this is the opportunity for you. - Comprehend new product/service program objectives: Gain a comprehensive understanding of program goals and design/engineering requirements for enabling new products/services - Define design and implementation plans: Partner with product and service teams to develop design and implementation plans to introduce new high-performant, secure infrastructure solutions for enabling new products/services - Create technical roadmaps: Define vital technical tasks, dependencies, and establish clear timelines for Infrastructure Services teams to meet program objectives - Monitor progress: Track and assess progress towards achieving crucial program achievements, ensuring alignment with program objectives - Risk management: Identify risks and drive technical mitigation plans according to program timelines - Documentation management: Maintain detailed and comprehensive technical and functional documentation for stakeholders - Facilitate cross-functional alignment: Drive meetings with product and service teams to facilitate technical and functional collaboration - Progress reporting: Generate detailed progress reports on a weekly basis, communicating achievements, challenges, and timely updates to partners

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in program management (3+ years) in infrastructure services or related technical domains
  • Experience with program/project management software (OmniPlan, Wrike, etc.)
  • BS/MS or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, or similar technical field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Validated experience in program management (5+ years) in infrastructure services or related technical domains
  • Proficiency in defining technical program scope, establishing timelines, and handling dependencies within a sophisticated organizational structure
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to enable effective collaboration across complementary teams and partners
  • Meticulous approach with a focus on maintaining accurate technical documentation and progress tracking
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
