About the Role

Meta is seeking a highly skilled Product Technical Program Manager to join our team. As a Product Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the technical strategy and execution of our company-wide platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Manage Technical Product Solutions: Develop and manage end-to-end technical product solutions to ensure on-time delivery and meet business requirements.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Manage cross-functional products and programs in a matrix organization, working closely with engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Define Roadmaps and Strategies: Help define the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams you work with, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Measure and Improve: Design measurements to track impact and drive internal process improvements, ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Communicate Effectively: Articulate the technology, requirements, goals, and milestones of your team to stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Technical Teams: Collaborate with technical program managers and engineers across Meta to establish a shared vision for improving execution and building solutions for privacy and security at scale.
  • Identify and Mitigate Risks: Identify dependencies and develop mitigation strategies to ensure that our products and services are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
  • Build Bridges with Product and Infrastructure Teams: Build bridges with product and infrastructure teams to discover adoption challenges, champion purpose use development, and promote privacy and security product adoption.
  • Drive Product Decisions: Help drive product decisions to align with higher company initiatives, ensuring that our products and services meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Establish Shared Goals: Establish shared goals with product teams across the company to build alignment across multiple cross-functional teams and to build and scale products for Meta.
Requirements
  • Technical Background: Bachelor of Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.
  • Delivering Tech Programs: Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery.
  • User Needs and Requirements: Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
  • Critical Thinking and Leadership: Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience, analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
  • Global Collaboration: Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience working with product teams to build and deliver end-to-end customer-focused products with technical knowledge of the underlying platforms and technologies.
