Summary / Role Purpose
The Principal Product Manager will provide support for our leading product within the Semiconductor Business Unit - RedHawk-SC. This role offers the chance to collaborate with exceptional R&D teams on a global scale.
We are seeking an expert-level professional that demonstrates leadership and creativity on complex projects and shows foresight through translation of significant market needs to product roadmaps. The individual is a thought leader and subject matter expert within a discipline and provides direct advice to senior leadership that impacts business growth.
This role is remote, but the preference is for the candidate to be located in either Austin, TX or San Jose, CA.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads product initiatives within core competency of semiconductor power integrity and reliability for industry flagship product, RedHawk-SC
- Technology evangelist, providing deep use case knowledge for area of core competency
- Engages with critical customers for planning, roadmap, and deployment of solutions
- Provides thought leadership in technical public forums: Conferences, Field Events, Executive round tables, etc.
- Partners with ACE and sales to drive business
- Responsible for the entire product life cycle, from its functional description through product launch to retirement
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field with 12 years of combined experience in engineering, computer aided engineering (CAE) simulations, pre-sales support, sales, or customer engagement, or master's degree with 10 years of experience, or PhD with 8 years of experience
- Recognized as a subject matter expert for power integrity and reliability or related field
- Experience developing strategic initiatives and GTM strategies based on market foresight
- Ability to clearly communicate the business value of technical innovations to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering, business, or science, 15+ years of combined experience in engineering, CAE simulations, or technical sales
- Ability to provide thought leadership across multiple disciplines
- Ability to prepare updates to executive and senior leadership team on product deliverables, strategy and key financial metrics
