Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating electrical systems for our test products. Your expertise in electrical engineering design, analysis, and test will be essential in helping us deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement electrical test systems, including designing interface assemblies, selecting and integrating test instruments and environments, and developing test systems for all Raytheon products. You will also be responsible for contributing to the completion of all stages of test product development, including technical, cost, and schedule management of assigned projects. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as your strong communication and problem-solving skills, will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for test products
  • Develop and implement electrical test systems, including designing interface assemblies and selecting and integrating test instruments and environments
  • Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, including technical, cost, and schedule management of assigned projects
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement electrical test systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design, analysis, and test
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design, analysis, and test
  • Experience with electrical engineering design tools, including Altium, DX Designer, and Mentor Capital
  • Experience with test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with project management and leadership
  • Experience with electrical design and analysis software, including Creo Schematic
  • Experience with test equipment, including signal generators and spectrum analyzers
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills
