Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Software Engineer Product Owner to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Software Product Owner team, you will be responsible for leading the accomplishment of engineering tasks in an iterative development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate and work closely with the Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL), Chief Product Owner (CPO), team members, customers, and other Product Owners in support of a missile system development activity.
- Provide technical direction and lead a team of engineers to plan, assign, status, and guide all Agile tasks across the team.
- Attend technical interchange meetings with team members and key stakeholders and represent the organization in matters pertaining to the development of projects.
- Provide status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks as required, provide document reviews, and resolve technical software engineering and integration issues.
Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience including at least two of the following: Embedded Software, Embedded Software Security, Embedded Operating Systems (Linux, RTOS, VxWorks, etc), Software Architecture Design and Implementation.
- Experience with C, C++, Python or other related object-oriented design languages.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAFe Certified
- Systems Security Engineering experience
- Agile and Scrum experience
- Experience with Git, Microsoft Azure DevOps Server, and Jenkins.
- Experience as a Scrum Master
