Responsible for responding to tier two level investigations and resolution expertise for cases generated by tier one representatives. May provide tier one support for incoming calls as needed. Works with employees, managers, Business Units, Areas of Expertise (AoE), and vendors to investigate and resolve issues related to Human Resources (HR), Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance and other HR related issues. Maintains accurate documentation within case management system of calls/emails, transactions, and outcomes of issues raised for administrative review and follow up. Participates in strategic in initiatives related to process improvements and enhancements, e.g. standardization activities, leveraging technology to reduce manual intervention, system upgrades, implementation of new technology, etc.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for responding to tier two level investigations and resolution expertise for cases generated by tier one representatives. May provide tier one support for incoming calls as needed.
  • Resolves moderately complex issues and independently provide solutions. Provides prompt, highly responsive and superior customer service to all inquiries. Collaborates with Employee Services team, Business Units, or AoE to resolve complicated issues.
  • Identifies and escalate issues to Specialist as appropriate.
  • Assists HFHS employees with complex questions related to Human Resources (HR), Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance and other HR related issues.
  • Provides training to new Employee Services team members on all areas within Employee Services.
  • Maintains case management system by accurately logging all incoming inquiries, issues and responses.
  • Performs various administrative, and basic to moderate PeopleSoft transactions for the following functions:
  • Incoming email resolution/documentation
  • General Deductions
  • PeopleSoft query audits
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • National Medical Support Notices
  • IRS Notices
  • Employee Change Request
  • Dependent Documentation
  • Spousal Surcharge
  • Special Medical Credits
  • Name Change Worklist
  • Participates in strategic initiatives related to process improvements and enhancements, e.g. standardization activities, leveraging technology to reduce manual intervention, system upgrade, implementation of new technology, etc.
  • Develops and maintains current workplace procedures in accordance with procedure manual and standard operating procedures.
  • Provides input for customer service standards and maintain the same
  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and other learning opportunities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Associate's Degree or two (2) years' completion of college, or equivalent two (2) years HR experience, or two (2) years' customer service in lieu of degree.
  • Two (2) years of HR experience.
