WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing expense reports, and maintaining accurate financial records.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data

Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits

Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors regarding payment inquiries

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Associate's degree or related experience

2+ years' experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role

2+ years' experience working with accounting software such as Quickbooks, ERP or similar

Knowledge of governmental accounting practices and tax regulations is a plus

Familiarity with public accounting principles and technical accounting skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Excellent organizational skills
