Oakland, California, United States UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland Full time

UCSF's pediatric Audiology Clinic offers comprehensive services for children with or at risk of hearing loss and speech and language delays. Our pediatric audiologists provide hearing evaluations for children from infancy through adolescence. We offer sedated and non-sedated auditory brainstem response evaluations and evaluate for central auditory processing disorder.

For those with hearing disorders, we offer a full-service hearing aid program. Our patients have access to a variety of amplification devices, including hearing aids, bone conduction devices, and CROS (contralateral routing of signals) devices. If we determine a child is a candidate for a cochlear implant, we will refer the child to our in house Cochlear Implant Program. We also provide rehabilitative services for kids with hearing loss or speech and language delays.

Our audiologists work closely with speech-language pathologists and developmental specialists to help every child achieve their fullest potential. We also work collaboratively with a variety of specialty departments such as Otolaryngology, Genetics, Speech-Language-Pathology and Hematology/Oncology.
