ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Quality Inspector for an aerospace company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience with electronics components looking to further their career in manufacturing.

Works from drawings, procedures, and specifications utilizing non-complex measuring devices (where necessary) to perform inspection of purchased parts, materials, components, electronic hardware, and equipment as materials are received from vendors or subcontractors.
Reviews, evaluates, and provides feedback on procedures and drawings.
Determines methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for inspection with machines and advanced tools.
Participates in the creation of inspection plans with the QE and provides input.
Contributes to the implementation of special setups on equipment.
Performs audits of products and processes. (may not do this as a temporary employee but is a nice-to-have in terms of experience)
Inspect critical in-process and/or finished production assemblies and subassemblies for conformance to drawings and quality assurance standards.
Performs and approves internal FAIs.
May perform Shipping Inspection duties utilizing internal systems and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet company shipping requirements.
May issue, and authorize release certificates on behalf of the company in accordance with regulatory requirements. (may not do this as a temporary employee but is a nice-to-have in terms of experience)
May perform conformity inspections (e.g on behalf of the company in accordance with regulatory requirements. (may not do this as a temporary employee but is a nice-to-have in terms of experience)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Previous final or in-process inspection experience
Electronics inspection experience
Ability to troubleshoot down to a component level
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical inspection tools
Ability to work closely with Quality Engineers
Understanding of cables
