About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Inspector to join our team at Kleinfelder. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections to verify compliance with construction plans and specifications
  • Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in construction materials or workmanship
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed inspection reports
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on construction best practices and industry standards
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry as a technician or inspector
  • ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector certification
  • ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector certification
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1 certification
  • Radiation Safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge with soil density testing experience
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Use of a company-provided laptop or tablet computer and working knowledge of MS Office programs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good work ethic and high level of personal integrity
  • Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • ICC Structural Steel & Welding Special Inspector certification
  • ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector certification
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) - American Welding Society (AWS) certification
