Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified NESC Inspector to oversee compliance with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) standards for our client's underground and aerial plant facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that all inspections and corrective actions performed by contractors align with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits of NESC inspections and corrective work.
  • Manage and address any Priority A condition violations that pose imminent danger.
  • Perform preliminary inspections and identify necessary corrections.
  • Issue corrections to approved contractors, engineers, or arborists.
  • Audit correction work and report on completed actions.
  • Oversee foreign-owned pole transfers, ensuring readiness and compliance.
  • Document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically.
  • Communicate effectively through various channels.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong computer literacy and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a technical environment with complex procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
