Position Summary:We are seeking a dedicated NESC Inspector to oversee compliance with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) for our client's underground and aerial plant facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that all installations meet the necessary safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough audits of NESC inspections and oversee corrective actions taken by contractors.
- Manage and address any Priority A condition violations that pose imminent danger.
- Perform preliminary inspections to identify necessary corrections and communicate these to the approved contractor or engineer.
- Audit correction work to ensure compliance and report on the completion of these tasks.
- Oversee foreign-owned pole transfers, including inspections and coordination with contractors.
- Document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically.
- Utilize effective communication methods, including email and phone, to coordinate with relevant parties.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong computer literacy and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a technical environment with a focus on detailed procedures.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
