Would you like to be part of a fast-growing fin-tech payments ecosystem at Amazon? Amazon Pay team looking for a Sr. Product Manager – Tech to lead the launch of a best-in-class checkout experience on Amazon Pay's partners for the new revenue model that we are developing to revolutionize Amazon Pay worldwide. A seamless checkout experience is arguably the most critical aspect of the online shopping experience. As a PM-T, you will drive the overall product-partner fit, own product prioritization decisions, gain leadership buy-in, and streamline our current features to create consistency of the buyer experience and optimize checkout conversion worldwide. You will closely collaborate with technology teams across Amazon Payments as well as renowned external business partners to scale your product globally. You will also opine on how to improve the checkout tech architecture to achieve your customer's goals. You will operate with a high level of autonomy, working backwards from data and customer insights to build innovative solutions to unsolved problems. As a product leader, you'll need to have a proven track record of creating a strong vision and roadmap and successfully delivering results.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Product Manager – Tech, you will:
- Own the Amazon Pay's checkout integration strategy for the new revenue model in all aspects of checkout (front and back end) including button render to click, payment experience, post-order and performance metrics to optimize Amazon Pay cart share and checkout conversion.
- Partner effectively with leaders in product, program, engineering, design, business development, legal, marketing, compliance, science, and business intelligence to influence priorities and drive alignment.
- Leverage synergies from both internal (Buy with Prime, Payment Acceptance, Checkout, BRP, etc.) and external partner teams to build the best and most consistent Amazon Pay experience across the web worldwide.
- Maintain excellent judgment on prioritization between focusing features, architectural improvements and operational excellence.
- Monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with target dates.
- Write and present documents, working backwards from customer and partner needs, independently to Amazon Payments Leadership Team.
A day in the life
What makes this job awesome: If you're inspired by challenging the industry status quo and building brand-new experiences from the ground up, this position is for you. Leading a highly strategic and innovative product focused on 3rd-party merchants and buyers worldwide, you'll set a strong North Star vision in your space and lead the development and execution of a technical roadmap. You'll interact regularly with senior leadership as you bring your vision to life. The successful candidate must be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with high attention to detail, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
About the team
