About the Role:

This role will be an essential member of the Production Team in our North Canton, Ohio facility. As the Packaging Adjustment Coordinator (PAC), you will ensure ongoing analysis of local production performance and efficiencies.This role requires strong inventory management skills and understanding production schedules and product lines.

This position will require at least one Saturday or Sunday a month when there is not production to conduct inventory (could be multiple weekends depending on demand). This will also require weekends in August to conduct year end inventory reconciliation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate daily inventory with inventory specialists (PCPs) of all packaging items in all production areas based on daily planning.
  • Review final inventory counts perfomed by inventory specialists (PCPs); enter results in SAP and recount questionable packaging items, in production and warehouse.
  • Report significant discrepancies in daily inventory to supervisor and other stakeholders; provide accurate data and sources of error encountered when checking available stock.
  • Record a log of daily issues and make it avaialble to stakeholders for analysis and action plan.
  • Validation of Just-in-time counts, performed by an inventory specialist (PCP).
  • Provide inventory of material resource planning (MRP) selected items based on a planned routine.
  • Provide training to selected personnel and continuously monitor packaging items as they are counted.
  • Other tasks in supporting production as needed
Who we are looking for:
  • Associate's or Bachelor\s Degree in Business Management or related fields preferred
  • Experience working within a high-speed manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of inventory process and applications of production KPI's
  • Knowledge of planning techniques
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in SAP system preferred
