A Day in the Life of a Freight Logistics Executive:

  • Freight Brokerage Sales & Account Management: Fully in-office role focused on building relationships and closing deals. You are involved in sales, customer service and management of your customers' freight needs. You provide first in class customer service, as well as developing long-term relationships with customers.
  • High Volume Interactions: You manage the movement of your clients' goods, ensuring that they are picked up, transported safely and delivered on time according to the clients' expectations. You function as the liaison between clients, carriers, shippers and receivers.
  • Rate Negotiations: Secure opportunities through effective transactional and contract rate discussions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams to deliver top-notch freight solutions.
  • Industry Insight: Stay updated on market trends to boost your sales strategy.
  • Shipment Tracking: You collaborate with carrier partners and shippers, overseeing the full lifecycle of every shipment in your given book of business.
