Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Sales Agent to join our team at Bold City Logistics LLC. As a Freight Sales Agent, you will be responsible for generating new revenue through prospecting and building relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and generating new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers
  • Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Solving customer and carrier problems and resolving issues
  • Providing excellent customer service and support
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals

Requirements:

  • 3 years minimum of Freight Agent experience
  • Ability to move a book of business within the first 60 days
  • Must have a booked of business worth $175,000 in Gross Profit
  • Previous sales or call center experience required
  • Freight Agent experience is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some college preferred but not required
  • Mathematical skills: ability to calculate in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Reasoning ability: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Language skills: ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Computer skills: knowledge of Database software, Internet software, Order processing systems, and Microsoft software
