The Sales Manager (Hotel Casino) leads our team by creating and executing innovative sales strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance guest satisfaction and meet financial objectives in a dynamic and customer-focused market. We are seeking a dynamic sales strategist with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, as well as expertise in sales planning, customer service, and event coordination.

This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits. Salary dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue and performance goals.
Market and Client Insight: Monitor industry trends, analyze competitor and customer data, and create actionable plans for market expansion and customer retention.
Sales and Relationship Management: Lead high-value sales meetings, maintain client relationships, and maximize revenue opportunities, particularly in event planning.
Operational and Financial Oversight: Ensure project milestones and budget adherence, manage contracts, and maintain accurate records.
Event and Promotion Coordination: Oversee event scheduling, coordinate with departments, and develop promotional materials to enhance visibility and client engagement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Communication and Customer Service: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management.
Sales and Strategic Planning: Expertise in developing sales strategies, negotiating, and managing performance metrics.
Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership abilities, including team building, supervision, and employee relations.
Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for market analysis, forecasting, and decision-making.
Organizational and Time Management: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:

REQUIREDHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
Three years of sales experience in a Hotel Casino or similar facility
PREFERREDExperience working with tribal entities
Gaming experience
Additional education/experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of the position. Additional Requirements:Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
