Summary:

Barr is looking for an environmental engineer to join their Bismarck office. The role involves working on projects related to the investigation, evaluation, and remediation of contaminated sites. Responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary teams, preparing technical work plans and reports, coordinating environmental site assessments, investigating contaminated areas, conducting feasibility studies, and overseeing remediation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee remediation activities
  • Prepare technical reports

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, geological, or chemical engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering
  • HAZWOPER certification
  • Project management experience
  • Client relationship building skills

Work Arrangement:

A hybrid work setup may be offered, splitting time between the office and home. This position is based in Bismarck, North Dakota.
