The Role

The Director of Loyalty Partnerships will be part of a dynamic Loyalty & Strategic Partnerships team, charged with expanding our current partnership footprint to build audience and drive member engagement for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

In this role, the Director of Loyalty Partnerships will source and prioritize leads, while leading deal negotiation with key partners. In addition, key to this candidate's success will be their ability to collaborate across the organization to close deals and seamlessly launch new loyalty partnerships.

What you'll do
  • Work with GVP of Guest Engagement, Loyalty and Strategic Partnerships to cultivate a clear and focused plan to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead business development strategy for new potential partnerships, including opportunity assessment, contract negotiations, implementation, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Leverage existing connections to build and cultivate a deep and trusted network of potential partners.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure pitches to prospective partners are delivered effectively.
  • Identify new opportunities to grow partnerships and unlock additional value for our loyalty members.
  • Track all opportunities, pipeline, and bookings to provide forecasts and funnel management reports.

  • Proven track record for meeting and exceeding and revenue targets.
  • First class executive communication skills; ability to present, negotiate, and influence at C-level.
  • A strategic thinker who can work quickly and execute independently.
  • Keen sense for prioritization, both internally and externally with partners.
  • Deep curiosity, excellent listening skills, and the ability to get things done in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to think laterally and explore creative solutions in deal negotiation, commercial structuring, and customer solution design.
  • Appetite and enthusiasm to work as part of a team that is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and supporting each other.
  • Collaborative and curious mindset, open to exploring new ways of doing things.
  • Ability to build rapport and engagement with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Expert at handling multiple high-touch relationships at one time.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and using data to drive decision-making.
  • Experience negotiating contracts, interpreting legal documents and working with legal teams to complete agreements.
  • Proficiency with financial modeling.

Required Qualifications/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of business development/partner engagement experience.
