Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Process Data Application CO-OP in the Nashville, TN facility starting now. This position is full-time, on-site and will require travel so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role. To be eligible for this CO-OP, you must be in an active college program, but not actively taking courses throughout the duration of this CO-OP.

What do you get to do as a "Process Data Application CO-OP"?

  • Collaborate across multiple Business Units, teams, and functions
  • 10% ~15% travel is required on regular base with a little request for cross region trip (Working across time zones will require flexibility in working hours)
  • Be involved to analyze and statistics the critical manufacture data through advanced/scientific approach
  • Deliver the analysis report and provide the theoretical suggestion according to the statistics result
  • Support on researching the newest & advanced technology & methodology for smart & automation solution with consideration of cost & efficiency
  • Support MPL to follow up some detailed event, consolidate the project data and design the matrix to clarify the GCR catalog
  • Support team overall project schedule & resource management and follow up the evolution.
  • follow up AME Procedure (w/ template) for GSC NAM, standardize the AME workflow; be involved to standard component catalog consolidation
  • Work on special projects that deeply involve component data analysis, support supplier to complete the data analysis and create the report.
  • Contribute to Smart solution and AI application (like machine learning)
  • Work with MDC to research the newest manufacture technology and methodology from website.
  • Work with AME team to draft the industrial evolution and technology roadmap for related NAM product, review and design a matrix to clarify the GCR catalog

This job might be for you if:
  • Working towards a Master's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics or Statistics,
  • Preferred- Experience in industrial engineering, AI or machine learning experience.
  • Have experience for systematic data analysis, statistics and consolidation scope and Software skill: MS, Java, SQL, Tableau, SAS, MATLAB Power BI, GIT, etc.
  • Willing to travel 10% ~15% of the time
  • Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter and team player with high initiative, positive attitude, and strong focus on results
