Position Summary
The E-Commerce division at Abercrombie & Fitch plays a pivotal role in enhancing our innovative digital and omnichannel strategies. This team is dedicated to crafting, testing, and executing new and enhanced methods for our customers to engage with our brands both online and in physical locations.

The Digital Policy Team is tasked with overseeing and mitigating fraud and abuse, primarily focusing on our online operations while collaborating with various departments. We utilize a range of tools to fulfill these responsibilities and facilitate numerous cross-functional sessions aimed at driving enhancements in critical areas.

Based in Columbus, OH, the Digital Policy Analyst will be instrumental in providing insights into opportunities and performance metrics across Digital Checkout and Returns processes. This role involves leveraging our suite of fraud prevention tools to enhance customer experiences while minimizing risks to Abercrombie & Fitch Co. The analyst will manage the performance of these tools in collaboration with both internal and external partners, identify value through data analysis, and work alongside cross-functional teams to establish new policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with third-party AI partners to map system processes, troubleshoot integration challenges, and oversee development efforts with internal engineering teams.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess and report on key performance indicators for checkout, including payment success rates and chargeback statistics, as well as returns metrics.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to proactively address emerging fraud and abuse challenges across checkout, returns, and loyalty accounts.
  • Work with various partners to implement and uphold digital policies using our decision-making tools, including opportunity identification, requirement scoping, and quality assurance.
  • Create performance dashboards to track key metrics across checkout and returns experiences.
  • Oversee and resolve ad-hoc issues affecting digital policy and appeasement costs, collaborating with subject matter experts across the organization.
  • Partner with customer care teams to audit and enforce digital policies throughout their lifecycle, enhancing overall performance.
  • Manage regular communications regarding the status of fraud and appeasement metrics to the broader business.
  • Collaborate with customer care teams to understand and refine processes that influence digital policy and appeasements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, information systems, or a related field.
  • Proficient in analytical tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Excel for data exploration and visualization.
  • Experience with dashboard tools like Tableau or Hadoop to identify trends and communicate ongoing performance results.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital product management, digital transformation, or the retail sector.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer support, with project management experience.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects within an Agile framework, prioritizing according to business needs and market trends.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets to derive insights and actionable strategies.
  • Effective communicator, capable of conveying complex concepts to executive leadership.
