Summary:

Sales Support Specialist responsible for growing LG's Home Entertainment market share for the Best Buy business. Assist Sales team in achieving and/or exceeding sales quotas by supporting the operational and analytical requirements within Best Buy's operation. This role is ONSITE in Minneapolis Office

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales and operational activities for Best Buy TV, AV and IT categories
  • Participate in execution of sales strategy with periodic tracking and reporting
  • Develop and maintain operational and product knowledge for TV, AV and IT business categories
  • Review, validate, submit MDF approvals
  • Support AR and SFM processing
  • Support VMI and SPMS submissions
  • Support sales enablement and LG Field team activities in Best Buy stores
  • Own claims post audit process working with AR team
  • Order and manage demo product requests via sales portal
  • Provide WERCSmart (Hazmat) product submissions
  • Ensure weekly PO accuracy
  • Monitor and report competitive activity
  • Provide timely observations of trends with corrective actions and reporting utilizing Best Buy & LG business platforms
  • Lead process for AR reconciliations and various accounting processes with Best Buy
  • Ensure product compliance in store & on web site
  • Lead promotional execution process with Best Buy
  • Perform site walks identifying 3rd Party Seller price degradation in the marketplace working with the Go to Market team to correct
  • Provide ongoing reviews of existing content and troubleshooting of issues across the Best Buy platforms
  • Manage administrative tasks with support from BBY sales team
  • Ensure proper levels of inventory in line with sales forecasts
  • Coordinate new product submissions & launches across categories and various teams with an eye for detail, accuracy and time to site.
  • Management and reporting of KPIs with deep dive analysis to identify opportunities and drive plans for improvements.
  • Partner and communicate with key Best Buy contacts and systems to optimize LG business and sales that achieve company KPI's
  • Acting back up for account manager as needed (out of office, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors required
  • 4+ years of Sales and/ or Sales Operations experience with a proven track record of results
  • Strong relationship builder and excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to digest and report out key business data trends such as market share
  • Solid business acumen
  • Strong Excel and PPT skills
  • Ability to work with multiple cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment to achieve desired results
  • Location: Minneapolis Office
