The Role:

Moderna Infectious Disease Development is seeking a motivated and energetic Program Leader with a broad scientific skill base and deep expertise in infectious disease research and development to lead the Norovirus Vaccine Program Team. The Program Leader will lead a cross-functional team to develop and align stakeholders on the development and regulatory strategy and drive progression of the vaccine candidate through late-phase development, filing, approval, and lifecycle management. Applicants should be excellent communicators and should have a successful track record of leading and motivating teams. They will be part of a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary, and fast-paced team that is translating Modernas mRNA technology into a broad portfolio of vaccines against infectious diseases.

Heres What Youll Do:

The Program Leader will

Lead the cross-functional Program Team for the Norovirus vaccine program through Phase 2/3 development, filing, and approval Develop an integrated development plan with the Program Team and in alignment with senior functional leaders Coordinate with Commercial and Medical Affairs to define and achieve the Target Product Profile for initial launch to obtain appropriate recommendations. Continue to coordinate on lifecycle management planning and execution Support development of regulatory documents and health authority interactions up to and including BLA submission and VRBPAC Represent the program status, scenarios, and trade-offs for the program with senior leadership, and internal and external stakeholders and align on program direction Develop a program budget in coordination with program management, finance, and functional representatives Collaborate with other members of the Latent Virus Portfolio organization and the Infectious Disease Development organization to share knowledge and improve ways of working Heres What Youll Bring to the Table: Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, Pharm D) with at least 10 years of experience in the discovery and/or development of vaccines or biologics. Exceptional candidates with a BS/MS degree and appropriate level of experience will also be considered.
