Role Overview

As a Community Manager, you will take charge of the daily operations of the property, driving financial and operational excellence. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will foster a vibrant sense of community among residents. Additionally, you will lead on-site personnel to ensure seamless operations in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set a positive example by embodying the core values and culture of Jones Street Residential.
  • Supervise leasing professionals and stay informed about market trends and competition.
  • Maximize property occupancy through effective marketing strategies and leasing initiatives.
  • Manage financial goals, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Address resident concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction and manage capital projects efficiently.
  • Implement resident retention programs and oversee community appearance and maintenance.
  • Provide leadership and training to staff, following proper protocols for emergencies and legal matters.
  • Deliver regular reports to track community and financial performance, and participate in budget planning.
  • Guide the leasing and renewal processes with a focus on customer service and revenue growth.
  • Conduct unit inspections as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred certifications: CAM, ARM, or similar industry designations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software like Yardi
  • Experience with 40B projects is a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information with integrity
