  • Manage Transportation Supervisors in all phases of the pick-up and delivery operation, including customer service, productivity, quality freight handling, and claims prevention.
  • Responsible, in whole or in part, for recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, development, supervision, performance management and discipline of Transportation Supervisors.
  • Maintain positive employee relations that enhances recruitment, retention and development of Transportation Supervisors and other transportation personnel.
  • Plan operations and manage overhead and personnel, including compliance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Coordinate assets within the assigned region, ensuring operating objectives for the CTS Fleet are met.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts to maintain driver staffing requirements for assigned region's fleet.
  • Support continuous improvement in the Five Focus Areas of Operational Excellence: Safety, People, Service, Quality, and Cost.
  • Maintain ISO certification, focusing on customer needs, and supporting the goal of maintaining VPP Certification.
  • Lead sustainability efforts of assigned region's fleet as well as championing other sustainability efforts as needed.
  • Monitor transportation operations to ensure best practices are consistently used.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have one (1) year of logistics or planning and scheduling experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have a least a bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working with Over The Road (OTR)/Commercial Truck Drivers
