Job Summary

The Registered Nurse - Admissions position at Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated is a critical role that requires a skilled and compassionate professional to provide optimal quality care to patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for prescribing nursing care, delegating nursing activities, and coordinating the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescribe Nursing Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient, ensuring that care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
  • Delegate Nursing Activities: Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure: Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
  • Certification in BCLS: Must hold current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Successful Completion of Orientation: Must complete a hospital and unit-specific orientation, which includes age and population-specific skills for the area of practice.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and possess the full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test.

Clinical Manager and the Director, Home Health

Schedule: Weekends and 1 Weekday shift (32 hours)
