Electro Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an in-depth design engineer with a background in hardware and mechanical engineering within the defense or aerospace industries.
Role:
- Design and integrate electrical and mechanical components into cohesive systems and ensure compatibility, efficiency, functionality and reliability of the integrated systems
- Utilize CAD or engineering software to create detailed designs, drawings, schematics, layouts and prototypes of system components and assemblies
- Participate in design reviews and provide valuable input to optimize product performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness
- Work closely with manufacturing and quality assurance team to support the transition of designs from prototype to production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering team, such as radio frequency, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and software, to complete projects successfully; mentor junior engineers as needed
- Create and maintain documentation related to electro-mechanical systems, including technical specifications, design documents, test reports, and user manuals
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes, tools, and methodologies within the engineering team
Requirments:
- A mechanical engineering degree from an accredited University
- 7+ years of experience
- Background in Mechanical engineering with a focus on hardware design
- Experience with CAD
- Preferred RF principals and concepts
