We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to lead the development of advanced sensor systems for airborne C5ISR applications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and testing complex engineering sensor systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers through the full product life-cycle, including system architecture, trade analyses, and requirements definition.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to designing, integrating, and testing complex engineering sensor systems.
- Collaborate with customers and strategic partners to adapt and integrate C5ISR multi-mission payloads to airborne platforms, communication nodes, and ground control systems.
- Work with program management and senior leadership to ensure the quality and overall performance of the engineering team and final product.
- BS degree or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 15+ years of demonstrated experience in design, integration, and test of large C5ISR systems, specializing in EO-IR or hyperspectral sensors and systems airborne applications.
- 10+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers in executing ISR and EO-IR based sensor systems projects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with department heads, managers, and customers.
- MS degree or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Confluence, JIRA, MS Project, or MagicDraw.
