Job Title: Chief Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to lead the development of advanced technologies for airborne C5ISR sensor systems. This role will involve overseeing the full product life-cycle, from system architecture and concept design to field and flight testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers in the design, integration, and testing of complex sensor systems
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to system design, integration, and testing
  • Collaborate with customers and strategic partners to adapt and integrate C5ISR multi-mission payloads to airborne platforms
  • Work with program management and senior leadership to ensure the quality and performance of the engineering team and final product
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals, business plans, and contract specifications
Requirements:
  • BS degree or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 15+ years of experience in design, integration, and test of large C5ISR systems, specializing in EO-IR or hyperspectral sensors and systems airborne applications
  • 10+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers in executing ISR and EO-IR based sensor systems projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to interact with department heads, managers, and customers
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with comprehensive computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS degree or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with project management and system engineering tools, such as Confluence, JIRA, MS Project, or MagicDraw
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
