Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Logistics/Administrative Technician with a strong technical background. The Logistics/Administrative Technician will be responsible for managing incoming order creation and outgoing order transactions and ensuring workflow is maintained with a sense of urgency. The successful candidate will have experience working in a logistics and/or administrative role and will be comfortable working with complex technical data and software systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers and manage the shipping and receiving process
  • Work closely with technical staff to understand inventory and logistics requirements, and ensure stock is available as required
  • Manage all aspects of logistics, including transportation and inventory management
  • Use software systems to manage and analyze backlog and produce reports as required
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Follow all company policies and procedures


Requirements:

  • Combination of 3 years of experience in administrative or logistics role and technical experience.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience working with complex technical data and software systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds


Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering, science, or related field
  • Familiarity with Electronics: Calibration and/or repair is a plus.
