Job Overview

As a BDR, your primary responsibilities will be to generate leads, reach out to prospects, engage interest, and input all information and activities into the CRM. Using your cold calling skills and ability to build value, you will heavily cold prospect managers and C-Level executives in cannabis companies around the world daily to qualify leads, gather information, and pass them to Account Executives to close.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prospect and Qualify new leads as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Create interest to set appointments and demo/info requests
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives
  • Report to the manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Meet weekly/monthly/quarterly KPIs and quotas


Requirements and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with cold calling/emailing
  • Track record of achieving/exceeding KPIs and/or Quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (ideally Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with Google Suites (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Ability to work well with a team and other departments
  • Minimum of Associates Degree preferred but not required


Compensation

  • $18/hr + Bonuses for prospected deals that close
