Hiring Manager Call Notes:

  • Looking for someone with strong engineering background in cyber security preferred.
  • .net experience is a plus because they are currently doing a migration.
  • If they have experience with MITRE Framework that would be preferred as well.
  • SIEM and SOAR are important skillsets as well and wants to ensure they are experts in this.
  • 3-5 years experience preferred, can be flexible on years of experience based on the profile
  • Team uses Google Chronical, experience in this would be a plus. Phantom would be fine as well
  • This person will need some type of understanding of the legacy platform, which is in .net but will not be spending major time here
  • Experience in Appian would be a plus as well, looking for strong programmer.
  • Interview process: Max 2 rounds virtual/video interviews. 1st round would be technical IV and then the second would be with Madhavi and her manager to ensure they are a good overall fit.
  • Focus on candidates that aren't H1B or need sponsorship as they will not be able to support this should they hire as FTE
  • Top 3 skills: SIEM and Soar, Python programming, Google Cloud platform
  • Financial tech would be a plus, if they don't come from this background they will need to have strong cyber security experience.
  • Legacy application is in maintenance mode.
  • Will be shortlisting Monday afternoon.
  • Reminder: most likely will only review 2 submittals per supplier


Main skills:

Your Opportunity

Our CyberSecurity Services (SCS) organization is a centralized Center of Excellence (COE) within our Technology Services (SCS) that provides security services to advance our security posture of critical assets.


The Automation Engineering team within SCS Application and Data Engineering organization owns the strategy, design, development, implementation and support through automation and orchestration for achieving high security and performance, increasing efficiency and eliminating manual repetitive tasks in cyber operations and business process within SCS.


We are looking for a strong and talented Cloud Security Engineer.

• DevSecOps' expertise in building and supporting security solutions for Windows, Linux, including services such as MITRE Navigator, techniques and sub techniques part of the framework.

• Expertise with SIEM and SOAR platforms

• Building and deploying security solutions using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and GIT Hub.

• Extensive experience with designing and programming applications using advanced Python.

• Proficient with Event Driven and API Driven Programming.

• Experience in low code environments such as Appian.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform including BQ tables and repository.

• Experience in SQL Server, PCF(Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and .NET is a plus.

• Communicating with various audiences, including business leaders, engineers, clients, and team members, with excellent ability to convey information that is relevant to the audience.

• Written communication for excellent documentation and reporting.

• Outstanding teamwork across multidiscipline plan-build-run teams.

• Applying your understanding and expertise with systems automation platforms and technologies.

• Automating security controls, data, and processes to provide metrics and operational support.

• Employing cloud-based APIs when suitable to share the coverage of the security controls and other related data in SIEM with stakeholder teams.

• Developing and delivering solutions using Agile methodology.

What you have

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills; supervising system health to identify and resolve issues that affect the performance, security, or integrity of the solution.

• Strong collaborative relationships to influence technology partners to achieve appropriate controls and risk mitigation techniques related to the area.

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
