We are partnering with a start-up Biotech seeking an Office & HR Coordinator. This firm is paving the way for oncology research. The ideal individual for this exciting role is someone who has exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to ensure office operations run smoothly. This is an important and highly visible role within the organization and reports directly to the Head of Human Resources.


Responsibilities:

  • Support HR services and support to a corporate office and lab comprised of appx. 50 personnel
  • Support all facets of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, training, staff development, rewards and recognition, performance management, compensation administration and analysis, HR policy interpretation and guidance, and personnel record-keeping
  • Create reports, coordinate events, review salary distributions, document procedures, participate in special projects, collaborate on identifying HR needs, design and implement HR strategies and plans
  • Ensure that all HR programs are compliant with local legislation and firm policies, and deliver high quality programs and services that result in improved performance and retention.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field;
  • At least one-to-two years’ direct HR experience preferred
  • General knowledge of basic HR functional areas desired
  • Strong employee-relations, customer service, organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
