Position Overview: The Business Development Representative will focus on the recruitment and ongoing nurturing of licensed life and health insurance professionals to work with our brokerage general agency. The role involves consistent daily use of phone, social media, and attendance at industry events. The candidate will relentlessly and proactively reach out to prospects and clients to create introductions to subject matter experts in our field.


Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Nurturing:

  • Recruit and nurture licensed life and health insurance professionals to collaborate with our agency.
  • Utilize phone, social media, and industry events to connect with prospects and clients daily.

CRM Management:

  • Maintain good CRM skills to create, log, and generate reports on daily activities.
  • Assign opportunities to the sales team.

Identifying New Business Opportunities:

  • Research and identify potential markets, customer needs, and opportunities for partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to uncover new business prospects.

Building and Maintaining Relationships:

  • Establish, develop, and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Network through industry events, conferences, and other professional gatherings.

Strategic Planning and Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives.

Sales and Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure effective execution of business development plans.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of business development initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
