Role with the Company:

The HR Generalist aligns the organization's initiatives and functions with business objectives and needs. Works closely with leaders, managers, supervisors, employees, and HR colleagues to provide insights, guidance, training and functional expertise, and working knowledge of all aspects of human resources, including employee relations and labor relations, leadership development, organizational development, compensation, benefits, and change management.

  • Support development and continuous improvement of HR systems and policies in line with best practices; employee engagement, leadership development, training, and organizational change.
  • Guide and coach managers on employee relations and HR issues on employee handbook policies and best practices, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
  • Develop curriculum & facilitate training programs including new hire orientation, compliance training, annual training plans for management, and departments based on organizational goals.
  • Perform routine tasks to administer and execute human resource programs, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition and employee engagement; and training and development.
  • Facilitate exit interviews, analyzes data, and deliver recommendations to the HR Leadership & Executive team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Lead all labor relations and employee relations-related matters, including disciplinary meetings, terminations, and EEO investigations.
  • Update and maintain the employee handbook on relevant policies and procedures.

Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree; Masters' degree in Business, HR Management, preferred
  • HRCI or SHRM certification a plus
  • 5+ years HR generalist experience, including onboarding, employee relations, leave tracking and benefits, training & development
  • Labor relations experience in an environment with a high demand employee base
  • Curriculum development and employee training expertise
  • Knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning styles, and evaluative methodologies in measuring impact on organization and ROI of training expenditures
  • Experience working with remotely located employees
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced, demanding environment and manage a high volume of work
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to non-local offices
