Job Description:

We are excited to welcome a motivated and dynamic Business Development Associate to our team at Bluewater Battery Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with companies within the solar industry. Other responsibilities include identifying customers, prospecting and establishing relationships with key stakeholders. You will use your strong communication skills and business acumen to drive business development in these industries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting: Identify and build relationships with customers.
  • Outreach: Initiate contact with site owners, operators, and decision-makers, introducing Bluewater Battery Logistics' services and building rapport.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing information and solutions that meet their specific project needs.
  • CRM Maintenance: Compile and maintain a database of potential projects, tracking project details, timelines, and key contacts.
  • Sales Documentation: Create quotes, proposals, and other deal documents to share externally with customers, outlining pricing and deal terms.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate the value and benefits of Bluewater's services through cold calling, email campaigns, and virtual meetings.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Finalize contracts or sales agreements, ensuring that pricing, services, and terms align with the needs of both Bluewater and our clients.
  • Client Support: Develop an understanding of each of your customers’ needs to proactively problem solve and facilitate the resale, repurpose, or recycling of their solar panels.


Qualifications:

  • 0-3+ years of previous sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a B2B sales role is preferred but not required
  • Exposure to cold outreach (cold calling, email campaigns, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (expertise not required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Track record of achieving ambitious professional goals
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel as needed for industry events (conferences, trade shows, client visits, etc.)
