Job Title: Logistics Account Specialist

Pay: $22.00 - 23.63/hour (based upon experience)

Duration: 11-Months (with potential to extend)

Schedule: Monday – Friday // 40hrs/week

Location: HYBRID - Nashville, TN (may transition to fully onsite in 2025)


As a Logistics Account Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in managing shipper performance, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with our client's standards across multiple stakeholders.


This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a knack for real-time problem-solving. You will engage directly with vendors, manage data, and collaborate with various teams to resolve transportation disruptions while driving continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, verify, and present data daily to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and overcome transportation disruptions in real time.
  • Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers and daily business review stand-ups.
  • Manage shipper-generated cases, dwelling freight, and freight backlogs.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with shippers, carriers, and key stakeholders about freight movement.
  • Perform root cause analysis for transportation defects and drive improvements.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related Amazon experience.
  • Degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to navigate and interpret data.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of data analytics and experience writing process improvement proposals.
  • Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, or distribution environments.
  • Strong data management skills and the ability to analyze large datasets for process improvement.


Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • BA/BS preferred
