Job Title: Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Account Executive to join our team at Chariot Logistics. This role will report to the Vice President and will be responsible for building and developing strong professional relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding customer shipping needs, market trends, and seasonality to negotiate rates.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers through phone and email communication.
  • Managing a portfolio of customers and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Providing real-time updates and solutions to customers.
  • Quoting and rating freight, as well as building loads when necessary.
  • Tracking and tracing freight movements from origin to destination.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented individual.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience in the Transportation/3PL industry preferred.
  • Prior sales experience preferred.
