Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead and oversee site investigation and remediation projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in environmental engineering or geology, hold a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license, and possess a strong background in managing large-scale environmental projects.


Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead environmental site investigation and remediation projects.

- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

- Conduct site assessments, environmental sampling, data analysis, and risk assessments.

- Prepare and review technical reports, remediation plans, and regulatory documents.

- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals and regulatory compliance are met.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance on environmental remediation techniques and best practices.

- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training and professional development opportunities.

- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and regulations on all project sites.

- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in environmental engineering and geology.

- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, clients, and stakeholders.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license in California.

- 5-10 years of experience in environmental site investigation and remediation projects.

- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, including CERCLA, RCRA, and state-specific regulations.

- Proven experience managing large-scale environmental projects, particularly contaminated groundwater plumes, abandoned mines, and Superfund sites.

- Proficiency in environmental software and tools for data analysis and project management.

- Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
