We're on the hunt for an Electrical Controls Engineer to join a trailblazing team.


You'll be the driving force behind designing, programming, and testing electrical control systems that revolutionize packaging machinery.



What's needed from you?


  • Review customer scope documents, using your experience and expertise to decipher control needs and wiring specs.


  • Power up collaboration with sales and estimating teams to fuel design requirements and cost analysis.


  • Unleash your creativity to craft electrical schematic designs and set schematic standards.


  • Design panel layouts that hit the mark while adhering to CE and UL electrical requirements.


  • Mastermind PLC programming (Allen Bradley Micro, Compact Logix, Siemens S7) and HMIs, including motion and servo control.


  • Put the pedal to the metal with motor control using VFDs and fieldbus communications.


  • Lead and inspire programmers and wiring pros to reach new heights.


  • Troubleshoot like a champ, tackling wiring, PLC code, and machine functionality challenges head-on.


  • Take charge of installation, and commissioning, and share your wisdom through top-notch technical training.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
  • Minimum 6 years of electrifying experience in controls application, preferably in machinery manufacturing.
  • Master of SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD electrical design software.
  • Rock-solid PLC programming skills, especially with Allen-Bradley software (Siemens skills? Even better).
  • Experience wielding machine control systems, HMI design principles, and network wizardry.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-driven with time management skills that shine.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
